Following seven years as the youngest ever Chief Executive of Derbyshire County Cricket Club, John obviously loves a challenge! He is responsible for the overall strategic management of the business and for developing and maintaining strong client relationships at a senior level.
Well known in the East Midlands business community, John is aiming to develop Optus Consulting into the bespoke search and selection company of choice amongst the region’s finest businesses. Having led the project to put together a diverse and respected board, his focus is on business development and additional recruitment to the Optus team. Always looking for a new challenge, whether that be jumping out of an aeroplane with the Red Devils, qualifying as an NLP practitioner and coach, or training for 10k runs, John enjoys working with his clients to acheive their goals and motivating and helping his colleagues to develop.
